Business setup guide

How to set up CVaL for your business, from signup to daily operations

This guide walks through the full business journey: creating an account, preparing the public booking page, adding your team, setting schedules, and managing appointments in CVaL.

Step-by-step setup

Follow these steps in order so your business page is ready to publish and your team can work from one clear dashboard.

01

Create the business account

Dashboard tab: Signup

During signup, enter the main business details, choose the industry, and create secure login credentials. This account becomes the main workspace for managing the business.

  • Use the real business name clients recognize.
  • Enter an active email address and phone number for operational notifications.
  • Choose the closest industry so service suggestions and defaults make sense.
02

Complete the business profile

Dashboard tab: Business Settings

The profile is the client’s first impression. Add a logo, address, short description, brand color, and the information a client needs before booking.

  • Upload a clear logo or brand image.
  • Write a short description of the services you provide.
  • Check address, social links, contact details, and language settings.
03

Choose or review the plan

Dashboard tab: Plan

The active plan controls employee capacity and growth tools. Before launch, confirm the current plan and payment state.

  • Open the Plan tab and review the active package.
  • Choose a higher plan if you need coupons, loyalty, or more employees.
  • After payment confirmation, wait for the plan change to appear in the dashboard.
04

Add services and prices

Dashboard tab: Employees

Every service should have a clear name, price, and duration. This lets CVaL calculate available times correctly and show clients the real booking value.

  • Keep service names short and easy to understand.
  • Set realistic durations in minutes to avoid delays.
  • Keep prices current because bookings store a historical price snapshot.
05

Add employees or specialists

Dashboard tab: Employees

Employee profiles connect services, schedules, and bookings. For each specialist, add the name, role, short bio, and the services they actually provide.

  • Attach only the services the specialist can perform.
  • Send an employee portal invite if they should see their own schedule.
  • Configure employee permissions according to your internal rules.
06

Set working hours and availability

Dashboard tab: Schedule

The schedule controls when clients can book. Set working days, hours, breaks, and individual employee availability before publishing the page.

  • Review every weekday and mark open or closed days.
  • Add breaks so clients cannot book during unavailable times.
  • Combine general and individual schedules if employees work different hours.
07

Prepare the client booking page

Dashboard tab: Client Page

The client page is the link people use to view your business, choose a service, and book a time. Check the page on desktop and mobile before sharing it.

  • Choose a simple slug that is easy to share.
  • Review colors, language, service display, and business details.
  • Copy the booking link and use it on Instagram, WhatsApp, or your website.
08

Manage bookings

Dashboard tab: Bookings

The Bookings tab is the operating center for the day. Track new, confirmed, cancelled, and paid appointments, and respond quickly when something changes.

  • Review new bookings at the start of the day and throughout the day.
  • Update statuses so analytics and history stay accurate.
  • Use employee filters when multiple specialists work at the same time.
09

Maintain the client base

Dashboard tab: Clients

The Clients tab helps you understand client history, visit frequency, and value. This is useful for retaining returning clients.

  • Check last visit, visit count, and total spend.
  • Update phone or email details when they change.
  • Use segments to separate new, returning, VIP, or lost clients.
010

Use coupons and loyalty

Dashboard tab: Coupons / Loyalty

Growth tools help attract new clients and bring existing clients back. Use coupons for campaigns and loyalty discounts for repeat visits.

  • Create coupons with a clear discount and usage rule.
  • Enable loyalty only when the team knows how to explain it to clients.
  • Regularly review which offers are actually being used.
011

Review analytics and transactions

Dashboard tab: Analytics / Transactions

Analytics and Transactions show bookings, estimated revenue, payments, top clients, and employee performance.

  • Review total bookings and revenue once a week.
  • Compare employee workload and service demand.
  • If there is a payment or plan issue, check Transactions and Plan.
012

Keep settings up to date

Dashboard tab: General / Settings

Business details change over time: prices, address, schedule, team, language, and branding. After every change, re-check the client page.

  • Review services, prices, and employees every month.
  • Check notifications and login security.
  • After changes, open the client page as a customer and test the booking flow.

Important plan note

Coupons and the loyalty program are available on Growth and Pro plans. If your current plan does not show those sections, update the plan from the Plan tab in the Business Dashboard.

Practical checklists

Use these short checklists as launch and daily operating controls.
